Our History

1880s Jacksonport CottageAs you can see, many changes have taken place at 6275 Hwy 57 since the Jacksonport Cottage opened in Jacksonport in 1984. From the early photo taken in 1882, through the renovation in the winter of 2002 into 2006, great efforts were taken to restore the home and garage as the old logs were uncovered. The living area on the left was completely replaced as that part of the structure was not logs but was made up of several ad ons that had taken place in the early 1900’s.
