Jacksonport, Wisconsin is nestled along the Lake Michigan shoreline on Wisconsin’s Door Peninsula. It’s a small, quaint lakeside community that hosts several events throughout the year. Just south of Cave Point is Whitefish Dunes State Park, which has the largest sand dunes in the state of Wisconsin, offers a fabulous and rather expansive swimming beach, hiking trails, a nature center and a unique look out point called Old Baldy.
