Jacksonport Information

Jacksonport SignJacksonport is nestled along the Lake Michigan shoreline on Wisconsin’s Door Peninsula. It’s a small, quaint lakeside community that hosts several events throughout the year. It’s a great place to relax and has fabulous dining and some great shopping places, such as the Jacksonport Cottage.

Lakeside Park, located in downtown Jacksonport, has a public swimming beach and several picnic areas. Cave Point County Park, located a few miles south of Jacksonport, contains often photographed sea caves along Lake Michigan. Just south of Cave Point is Whitefish Dunes State Park, which has the largest sand dunes in the state of Wisconsin, offers a fabulous and rather expansive swimming beach, hiking trails, a nature center and a unique look out point called Old Baldy.
